So, in more recent history, it as officially on this day in 2020 that the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic.
What's come after, we're all well aware of. Fingers crossed everybody!
It's also the day on Douglas Adams was born in 1952. He unfortunately died May 11 in 2001.
He's one of my favourite authors with his Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. Such a good read.
Now in terms of reading, I often have to read up to make sure I know how to fix a leaky toilet or sink... so it's good to celebrate World Plumbing Day.
Definitely a good skill to actually know or just to respect so you know when you should hire out. Somethings you don't want to skip on.
