It's funny to look back on a show like All in the Family and recognize how out of place it sort of was to tackle some serious issues.
The Bunkers came on TV for the first time today in 1971 and ran for 8 season.
Also popular in the 70s were the BeeGees, and singer Maurice Gibb died on this day in 2003 (aged 53).
